It's been two years, it's just not going to be fixed at this point. If anyone reading this still has this problem, just buy a new router and save yourself the headache. Thanks to Linksys being total shit these days, I was forced to implement a much better solution then they were able to. Now I have a fully configurable web cache, dns cache and robust dhcp service on my network. I actually had the same issue, I just ended up disabling the router’s DHCP ability all together and replaced it with a Linux box running a DHCP server with pdnsd+squid.

Thanks to Linksys being total shit these days, I was forced to implement a much better solution then they were able to. Now I have a fully configurable web cache, dns cache and robust dhcp service on my network.
